Put F.A.I.T.H. Sports on your phone’s home screen so it
opens like any other app — scores, schedules, team chat and reminders in one tap.
It takes about a minute and there is nothing to download from an app store.

Worth doing even if you already use it in a browser.
On an iPhone or iPad, notifications only work once the app is on your home
screen — that is an Apple rule, not ours. If you are not getting alerts about games,
cancellations or messages, this is why.

The address

Point your phone’s camera at the square and tap the link that
pops up — or type the address into your browser.

📱 iPhone & iPad

Use Safari. Other browsers on an iPhone may not offer this.

  1. Open Safari and go to faithhomeschool.net/team-chat
  2. Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up, usually at the
    bottom of the screen.

    Don’t see it? On newer iPhones Safari hides it.
    Tap the ••• button at the bottom first, then tap
    Share.

  3. Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen
  4. Tap Add in the top right corner
  5. You will see a FAITH Sports icon on your home screen. Open it from there
    from now on.

🤖 Android

Use Chrome, or whichever browser you normally use.

  1. Open Chrome and go to faithhomeschool.net/team-chat
  2. Tap the ⋮ three dots in the top right corner
  3. Tap Install app — on some phones it says Add to Home screen
  4. Tap Install (or Add) to confirm
  5. You will see a FAITH Sports icon on your home screen. Open it from there
    from now on.

    Chrome often pops up an Install bar at the bottom of the
    screen by itself. Tapping that does exactly the same thing.

Then turn on notifications

  1. Open FAITH Sports from the new icon — not from your browser.
  2. Sign in if it asks.
  3. Tap the ▾ arrow beside your name at the top right, then
    🔔 Turn on notifications.
  4. Say Allow when your phone asks.

If you don’t see
🔔 Turn on notifications in that menu, they are already on for this
device — nothing more to do.

Do I need an account?

Yes — the same email and password you already use for Team Chat. If you have never
signed up, open the address above and choose Create an account; an
administrator approves new accounts before they can see anything.

Will this use storage on my phone?

Almost none. There is nothing to download from the App Store or Play Store — the icon
is a shortcut that opens the app full screen.

I have an iPhone and there is no “Add to Home Screen” in the list

You are probably in Chrome or another browser rather than Safari. Open the address in
Safari and try again.

Can I put it on more than one device?

Yes — phone, iPad, a second parent’s phone, as many as you like. Turn notifications on
separately on each one, since each device asks for its own permission.
