Mission Statement – We will strive to Faithfully Assist In Teaching Homeschoolers to make a Godly impact in their homes, churches, and communities.
Statement of Faith
The Bible – We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, to be the Word of God, to be verbally and completely inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original writings, and to be the only rule and authority for faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21)
The Trinity – We believe in the one true God who is eternally and equally existent in three persons: God the Father; God the Son; and, God the Holy Spirit. (John 10:30; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Peter 1:2)
God the Father – We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He hears and answers prayer and that He saves from sin and death. (John 3:16; Ephesians 4:6; 1Timothy 6:13-16)
Jesus Christ – We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived of the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and visible return to earth. (Matthew 1:20-21; Acts 1:9-11; 1Timothy 2:5-6)
The Holy Spirit – We believe the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and regenerates, indwells, enlightens, comforts, and empowers the saved. (John 16:7-8, 13-15)
Creation – We believe the account of Genesis of creation and believe that man came by direct creation of God and not by evolution. (Genesis 1-2; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17)
Man – We believe that man was created in the image of God. Through man’s sin, he was separated from God, becoming spiritually lost and needing to be born again. (Genesis 1:26-27; John 3:3; Romans 5:15)
Salvation – We believe that salvation is by grace alone, by believing in and accepting Christ as personal Savior. Salvation is only through the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. (John 1:12; Ephesians 1:7; 2:8-9)
Eternal Security – We believe that every true believer is assured of his eternal security in Christ Jesus and is kept by God the Father. (John 10:27-29; Philippians 1:6)
Satan – We believe that Satan is a real personal being and the accuser of the brethren. He is the unholy enemy of God through rebellion. This author of sin and tempter of wickedness is destined to be judged in the eternal lake of fire. (Isaiah 14:12-15; John 8:44; Revelation 20:10)
Church – We believe that the church of Jesus Christ is composed of all born-again believers. As believers, we are called to live lives pleasing to the Lord and to abstain from practices which grieve Him.
We believe that the local church is a congregation of immersed believers, associated by covenant of faith and fellowship of the Gospel; observing the ordinances of Christ; governed by His laws; and exercising the gifts, rights and privileges invested in them by His Word. (Acts 2:41, 42; 1 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 1:22, 23; 4-.1 1; Acts 20-.17-28; 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Colossians 1:8; Ephesians 5-.23, 24; Acts 15).
The Ministry and Spiritual Gifts – We believe that God bestows various gifts on all believers for the work of the ministry and that the gifts mentioned in Romans 12:6-8 and in Ephesians 4:11 are sufficient for the perfecting of the saints today
We believe that the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance) is the evidence of His indwelling rather than speaking in tongues or other spectacular demonstrations which are not for this age (Galatians 5:22, 23; 1 Corinthians 13).
We believe that God does hear and answer the prayer of faith for the sick and afflicted, according to his own will, and that James 5:14-16 gives a pattern for prayer in regards to the sick.
Future Events – We believe in the personal, pre-millennial, and imminent return of the Lord to rapture the believers prior to the Great Tribulation. After the Great Tribulation, our Lord Jesus Christ will return in person with His church and introduce the millennial age. There will be eternal punishment for the unsaved and eternal joy in the presence of the Lord for the saved. (Matthew 25:46; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 19:11; 20:3)
Separation – We believe in the Biblical doctrine of separation, which encompasses the separation from all affiliation, fellowship, and cooperation with those who deny the true Christian faith; and the separation of the individual believer from all worldly practices that would dishonor the Saviour.
We believe that we should refuse to be drawn into compromising alliances. Specifically, we reject the concept that we should cooperate with unbelievers and apostate organizations, even if by so doing beneficial results may seem to be produced (Romans 16:17-19; 2 Corinthians 6:14; 2 Timothy 3:5; Ephesians 5:11; 2 John 9-11).
Civil Government – We believe that civil government is of divine appointment for the interest of and good order of human society; that magistrates are to be prayed for, conscientiously honored, and obeyed, except in things opposed to the will of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 13:17; II Samuel 23:3; Exodus 18:21,-22; Acts 23:5; Matthew 22:21; Acts 4:19- 20; 5:20; Daniel 3:17-18).
Christian Home – We believe that marriage is ordained of God for mankind’s welfare happiness; that the institution of marriage is honored by the Lord Jesus Christ; that the marriage bed is honorable; and that, for the believer, marriage is to be “in the Lord” and only to another believer. God’s order of authority in the Christian family is Christ, the Head, followed by the husband, then the wife, and, finally, the children (Genesis 1:28, 2:18, 23, 24; John 2:1 -11; Hebrews 13:4; 2 Corinthians 6:14; Ephesians 5:21-28; 6:4).
We believe it is totally against the command and teaching of the Word of God to in any way change or pervert this order; that homosexuality, lesbianism, or any other sexual relationship outside of marriage is contrary to the Word of God. We do not accept these as an alternate life style (Romans 1:18-32).
We believe that from the beginning, God never intended for man and wife to either be separated or divorced. The Lord, speaking through Paul, instructed the wife not to leave her husband and the husband not to put away his wife. We believe then, that divorce, or divorce and remarriage, is contrary to God’s perfect will (Matthew 19:6; 1 Corinthians 7:10, 11).
Sanctity of Human Life – We believe that God is the giver of life and the final authority in the cessation of life. Therefore, all human life is sacred and to be protected, including care for the pre-born, handicapped, infirmed, needy and aged. (Genesis 1:27; Job 12:9-10; Psalms 139:13-16; Exodus 20:13, Psalms 82:3-4;).
